PT ABG Proudly Participated in ASPEBINDO Talk show: “Optimizing Coal Gasification for Energy Resilience and Transition”

PT Amir Brothers Gasification proudly participated in the ASPEBINDO Talk show “Optimizing Coal Gasification for Energy Resilience and Transition,” held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at DIA.LO.GUE CAFE, Kemang, Jakarta. Our ABG Vice President, Mr. Jamil Amir, was selected as one of the speakers at this event.

During this occasion, he shared his personal experience in completing several gasification projects abroad as a commissioning and start-up manager. He also presented a block diagram of the CTX Plant to help the general audience to understand the overall process of a gasification plant.

He stated that the biggest challenges facing gasification projects in Indonesia are not related to the technical aspects of the gasification plant, but rather to non-technical issues. These non-technical issues need to be addressed and require collaborative efforts from various parties, including the government.

He emphasized the proven success of this gasification technology in China and also outlined lessons learned for gasification projects to be successful in Indonesia.
